Our clients are currently looking for a Sportsbook Manager to take the reigns of a new and exciting project. The operations will be primarily automated although candidates will need to demonstrate knowledge and experience of sportsbetting markets and operating manually.

 

The Sportsbook Manager will have the overall responsibility for the sportsbook products over multiple locations to ensure that  the best possible sportsbook experience is offered consistently and thereby maximise revenues whilst managing and taking responsibility for risk errors.

 

Key Factors

• Overall responsibility for Sportsbook products
• Manage and promote the best possible customer experience
• Stay up to date on the latest market developments and competitors
• Propose and initiate sporting promotions
• Together with Management Team set annual targets for Sportsbook.
• Manage relations with third party supplier and compilers

 

Formal Role  Requirements (Qualification and Education)

1. Excellent knowledge and passion for sports
2. Enthusiastic in football and horse racing
3. Knowledge in sportsbetting customer behaviour
4. Personal skills and traits
5. Proven ability to manage a department and experience in employee deveopment
6. Strong business drive 
7. Innovative and creative in marketing and promotions
8. Flexible in time keeping to suit business demands
9. Initiates actions and takes decisions
    

 

Desired Qualities

1. Candidates already living in Malta will be given preference and with linguistic skills will be given preference.
2. This position will ideally be suited to Sportsbook CS Team Leaders/Agents, Telephone Betting Agents, Betting Shop Cashiers and other sportsbetting employees looking to take the next step into a departmental management role.
3. Employees of a sportsbetting industry background who are able to think outside of the box in terms of promotions, marketing and customer relatons.

 

Salary and Package

 

• Possible relocation assistance - Flights and initial accommodation
• €18,000 to €24,000 depending on experience
• Food and Beverage whilst on duty
• Uniform or clothing allowance
