As a senior developer you will be the first member of the development team. As such you will be expected to onboard and implement all needed project management tools such as JIRA/Atlassian, as well as work plans to ensure business requirements are met.

• Designing, building, and maintaining highly reusable simple clean and secure PHP, JavaScript, HTML and CSS code frameworks/technologies as necessary with a focus on minimizing technical debt and complexity.
• Managing and responsibility of all WordPress development including theme and plugin development, creation of shortcodes, custom post types, and utilization of action hooks and filter hooks.
• Responsibility for implementing all UX/UI development requirements as outlined by the business in order to streamline the user journey.
• Responsible for the development of complex and performant SQL queries in order to provide necessary business reporting.
• Ownership of ensuring that all company websites and games render correctly on all devices from desktop to mobile, ironing out any compatibility issues.
• Working collaboratively with a small, cross-functional agile team, actively participating and contributing to agile events as appropriate
• To Focus on technical innovation through robust saleable developments on both the front and back end.
• To assist the company with all required integrations from marketing tools to PSPs ensuring that all business departments are supported from a technical standpoint and can integrate efficiently.
• To build and manage a reliable development team in order to handle all technical business aspects.
• Responsible for taking the lead on all development projects allocating subtasks to developers in order to handle workloads effectively.
• To maintain and utilise the business staging environment to fully QA any technical implementation prior to release on the production environment.
• Deliver solutions to agreed budgets and timeframes, providing regular status updates.
• Creating and maintaining digital assets, such as interface design files, wireframes, and interactive mock-ups using.
• Taking ownership of code written and understanding the importance of writing in a scalable and maintainable way.
• Working closely with the product team and stakeholders to translate requirements into a tangible solution.
• Designing, developing, testing, deploying, documenting, maintaining and enhancing software in line with the company's quality standards.
• Managing project priorities and deadlines.
• Task management using the requested collaboration tools (Atlassian Jira or similar) as required.
• Regularly updating the team manager / team-lead on progress of tasks at hand.
• Understanding and following company Software-Development Lifecycle while using requested tools to transparently keep record of the progress, raise any red flags and solve any requirement query with the respective entity.
• Writing and executing unit and integration tests and testing of deliverables against functional and non-functional requirements to ensure a smooth release.
• Keeping up to date with latest technologies and suggest improvements.

• Hours – 9-6 Monday – Friday
• Salary – Dependant on Experience.

• You should have previously headed up and being hands on in development teams responsible for both front and back end delivery and be proficient yourself in all development work you would be expecting your tea to undertake.

• As the first member of the team in the door, you will be expected to undertake all development requirements the business currently has from the get-go in order to ensure a fluid user experience for our players.
